Dear Parishioners of Our Lady of Hope,

 

As we await the Cardinal’s final decision regarding the Renew My Church process in our grouping, please continue to pray for the spiritual renewal of our parishes, families, and all of us. 

 

Due to the pandemic the Cardinal’s decision will be announced at the online event on Wednesday, May 12 at 7p.m.  To join the online event, please visit renewmychurch.org/announcements. Look for the O’Hare Neighborhood Grouping and click the registration link. Then complete the form to sign up to attend the Renew My Church online event.  Spread the word and invite others to join.

February 27/28, 2021

Please read the letter here with updates about the O'Hare Neighborhood grouping meeting that was held on February 23, 2021. As stated in a previous letter, please remember that we hold two meetings on March 7th as follows:

​

1. Sunday, March 7th after the 10:30am mass. (This will be an in-person meeting and will only be open to those that have registered for the 10:30am mass.  The meeting will also be live streamed following the mass.)  

2. Sunday, March 7th at 6:00pm via Zoom.  (The link for the Zoom Meeting is noted below.) If you are attending this Zoom Meeting, please review the questions here and provide your feedback at the end of the Meeting. If you would prefer to send your comments to the parish office, please do so via email at office@ourladyofhopechurch.com or mail. Thank you!

 

Participants in these meetings will have the opportunity to ask questions and offer comments (this option will not be available for those observing the in-person meeting via livestream after the 10:30 mass, but will be available to those meeting in-person and to all participants of the evening Zoom session). You are invited to a Renew My Church 101 Meeting on February 3, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. until 8:15 p.m. Hear the vision of renewal for the Archdiocese of Chicago, learn the structural and spiritual priorities of Renew My Church, and consider its application for Our Lady of Hope Parish.  Comprised of prayer, presentation, and Q&A, RMC 101 will explain the main steps and timeline of the process and invite participants to consider their own role in the renewal of the Church.
